Ever wondered how much it cost to unlock T4 troops in Lords Mobile? T4 or Tier 4 Troops is the highest and most powerful army in Lords Mobile. They are 1.5X stronger than T3 troops and a lot stronger than T1 and T2 troops.
Trying to unlock T4 troops requires a ton of prerequisites such as upgrading all P2W buildings to level 25 and completing all required tech research. These mind boggling requirements need tons of gems and speed ups to shorten the waiting time.
If you don’t use gems and speed ups, you may only be able to unlock T4 troops after logging in daily for 3 – 5 years!
Let me give you a quick estimate.
Upgrading to T4 costs around 3 million gems. That’s around 600,000 for the P2W buildings, and 2.4 million for the research. This is after helps. No helps may require more so you need to be in a very active guild to help you achieve this goal.
If you’re an F2P, the above gem estimate will cost you more than $2000 alone!
Not only that. You also need over a billion of gold and hundreds of millions of the other resources like food, ore, wood and stone.

Actual T4 Unlocking
I have an account which took me more than a year to do all the required research to finally get to this level. See screenshot below:
The final research to unlock T4 is the “Army Offense I“.
As you can see from the above screenshot, the original completion time is 626 days but due to gold research gears plus making the “Trickster” to Gold grade it’s now reduced to 225 days.
Notice the gold requirement, it’s a whooping 100 million!
Here I need 300,160 gems to complete the research instantly, no helps yet.
Now with help bar full, I need to wait 165 days or more than five months to complete the task. If I wanted to finish it right away, I need to spend 221,081 gems.
Notice the big difference between zero helps and full helps? That’s the reason why I said earlier that you need to be in a good guild with active members.
